Happy Wednesday!

Yes, it has been about a Bajillion years since I’ve posted anything. Classes are keeping me busy, and my fieldwork is taking just as much time.

That is a good thing, I think.

Happy Tuesday!

I wonder if you all know about this resource. It seems very Diakonal to me… it gathers a community of people to help an individual going through major difficulties. (I’m sure there are many other uses, but this is what I see…)

It looks like there is a new website that gives access to all sorts of biblical texts and information. I don’t remember running across it before http://www.biblia.com/

Maybe next week I can blog more.

Happy Thursday!

Yesterday’s brace fitting went well and fairly quickly. I think that I will like this one, at least I will once I learn how it is supposed to really fit. Right now, there is pressure at the top of the brace at the back of my neck. I don’t know if it is a position-related thing, or whether some further bending needs to happen.

One of the things that I think I will really like is an additional step. Under the turtle-Shell that holds me stiff, keeps my head still, and protects my cocyyx… I wear an additional tool. It is a postpartum binder, and I really like the way it helps my breathing.

It isn’t expensive, but I thought it might prove to be an encouragement.

We had planned to go to early service today. The choir had an anthem and we were well rested, so it didn’t seem unreasonable.

Sometimes plans just don’t work!

We overslept by over an hour. When Mother woke me, I even told her that I had been dreaming that we were oversleeping. She told me, “No, we are early. It isn’t even six.”

It was seven.

We made it to Bible study a little bit late. Late service was a gift and blessing and Pastor Mallie preached today. It’s just that everything has seemed a little bit off. I’m driving badly today — I just wish I could blame it on being late.

We will see what I accomplish this week. I have an appointment every day, which will cut into my study time.
